The sea - a passion for life !
I started scubadiving when I was 15 years old, and that means it is now more than 24 years ago, I did my first scuba dive.
In 1994 I began taking still pictures underwater. My skills where rapidly improving, and the same year I won the Danish championship in underwater photography. The competition is a "shoot-out" which is been organized on a yearly basis by the Danish Sportsdiving association. In 1995 I was 4th.
Since then, most of the time I have been recording digital video underwater, and above. This media is fantastic, and I am currently working on several project films.
I have dived a lot of places, including: Red sea, Malta, Sicily, Crete, Tenerife, Costa Brava, Ibiza, Swedish west coast, Norwegian east coast and of course all over Denmark - I am not really sure that the list is complete....
Certified as a Commercial Diver + CMAS ** sportdiver, CMAS Basic nitrox, CMAS Divemaster, PADI nitrox and PADI Semi Closed Rebreather diver. Currently I am diving the Dräger Dolphin mrk4 rebreather.
Skawdiver, what does that mean ? Definition of Skaw in the dictionary: Skaw - a cape on the northernmost tip of Jutland peninsula in northern Europe that forms the continental part of Denmark between the Skagerrak and the Kattegatt.
